Education
I attended The University of Texas at Brownsville and received my BA in Language Arts English. I graduated May 2010, and am currently taking courses to complete my MA in Educational Technology. In addition, I am a United States Navy Veteran, and understand the importance of structure. I teach at a middle school, where I am able to teach all four core subjects on a daily basis. My teaching experience has been highly enjoyable as of yet.
Experience
I was a Dyslexia Tutor in 2010. I took Gifted & Talented courses, as well as AP courses in elementary through high school. My certifications have been rendered by The State of Texas (Classroom Teacher/ English Language Arts and Reading (4-8th grade), Generalist Certification (4-8th grade), ESL (English as a Second Language (4-8th grade)& Educational Aide 1. I want to be a tutor so that I may help students to achieve their full potential. I absolutely love writing an am currently writing a novel. I hope to get it published this year, as I am a very driven individual.
